Coding Dojo sits in the heart of downtown Chicago, where some of the fastest tech innovations of the midwest take place. Coding Dojo has set its roots in the Windy City for many strategic reasons. One of which is Chicago’s fast growing tech job market ( something that Coding Dojo is taking full advantage of). Another is the fact that many major tech companies call Chicago home. Coding Dojo has forged strategic partnerships with some of Chicago’s most prominent tech firms. Located on the North side of Chicago, only a few blocks from gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, what better place could you find to study?
Curriculum varies a bit based on your desired program. For full time courses, both online and in person, you’ll learn a variety of full stack coding languages. You’ll spend time working on back end programming before switching to front end coding languages. Coding Dojo focuses on 3 stack curriculum that usually includes back end, front end, and data storage classes. Part Time curriculum focuses on the same topics as full time.
While schedules vary greatly per program, they all follow the same model of learning. Weeks 1-2 you’ll focus on coding fundamentals. Weeks 3-6 you’ll focus on a certain realm of coding and work with a number of coding languages. Weeks 7-10, you’ll continue your learning through different coding languages and ideals. Weeks 11-14, you’ll switch your coding languages and curriculum one last time. Weeks 15-16, you’ll focus on career services and portfolio prep. Part time courses will vary a bit on timing and focus more on projects and portfolio building.
